Verizon Signal Boosters
Verizon is currently the largest cell phone provider in the United States. Figures from July 2016, put their subscriber numbers at 142.8 million. Known as Verizon Wireless, it is a wholly owned subsidiary of Verizon Communications. The United States company was blended in 2000 from the American telecommunications company “Bell Atlantic” and the telecommunications giant, “Vodafone”, a British company.
Verizon grew after purchasing other wireless phone companies in the United States. A large portion of that was the acquisition of Alltel, in early 2009. Not stopping there, in 2012 it went on to buy some of the Plateau Wireless markets and in 2014, the Golden Cellular operator.
