Set up the external antenna outside where the signal is strongest, ensuring that it faces the diection of the nearest cell tower. The signal should be atleast 70 dBm.
Use a cable to connect the outside antenna to the BTS port of your repeater. For the best results, the booster should be 10-20 metres from the antenna. Ensure that the junction of the outdoor antenna and the cable is well wrapped and waterproofed.
Connect the indoor antenna to the signal repeater MS port. For best results, the distance between the repeater and the internal antenna should be 3-5 metres. In case of more than one antenna, use the splitter.
Check whether all the units are correctly installed as per this guide, and that all connections are tight before plugging in the system.
